THE DONKEY SHOW (Review)

This is the review I wrote and submitted to Theatre Journal after seeing The
Donkey Show
in NYC. Unfortunately, TJ lost the review when it moved to
new office space.
BURN THIS (KCACTF Critique)

For many years, KCACTF adjudicators followed on-site visits and oral
responses with written critiques. This is one thatI wrote for a small Baptist
college in central Kansas.
FOLLIES (Concert Narrative)

For the centennial of Kansas City's Folly Theatre, I wrote this concert
narrative for the Heartland Men's Chorus. Although I originally wrote the
script for Mayor Kay Barnes to read, I ended up narrating myself when she,
unfortunately, had to cancel.
WITH WREATH...BY FRED (Concert Narrative)

With Wreath...By Fred is the concert narrative I wrote and read for two
"Deck the Halls" Christmas concerts given by the Atlanta Gay Men's Chorus:
1995 at St. Luke's Episcopal Church and 1997 at the Catheral of St. Phillip.
VALPARAISO (Program Notes)

I knew that our production of Don DeLillo's Valparaiso required special
notes to prepare the audience to wrestle with it.
MEMENTO MORI (Program Notes)

For the world premiere of John Adler's AIDS requiem Memento Mori, I wrote
these program notes to help the audience understand how the eclectic
assortment of internal compositions tied together.
